Terms of Service
I - General Terms
Commissions are currently first-come, first-served. Depending on demand of services, this is subject to change without prior notice.
Commission content can be either SFW or NSFW in material, however in general, commissioners must be 18+ years of age.
Commission requests are preferred to be clear and concise in their direction; please make clear in the opening message your requested material, namely the subject matter and characters. (with whatever text or image references are available)
Any work received through commission is not to be used for or reproduced through any form of automated image generation. (AI images, etc.)
The artist holds the right to reject any commission request without reason given.
I-a - Character Material
The commissioner may request a character/s of their choosing to be present in the artwork, with certain exceptions.
- Depictions of real people will not be approved in any commission.
- Depictions of any character under 18 years of age will not be approved for NSFW content.
I-b - "The General List of Draws & Drawn'ts"
Please note that this section does not determine the exact parameters of what a commission request can and cannot have
The following content is considered acceptable for any commission requests and will likely not require further negotiation on their own:
- Content depicting men, women, or nonbinary characters in any potential coupling or interaction.
- Furry content
The following content is considered acceptable for NSFW commission requests:
- Hypnosis/Mind Control
- BDSM Content
- Dom/Sub Content
- Mild Pain Play
The following content may be up for negotiation in NSFW commission requests:
- Cartoonish depictions of body parts separated from the body (brain removal, modularity, etc.; content should not have major blood loss or gory imagery depicted)
- Mild blood loss or bruising
- Mecha content (may be subject to extra charge depending on technical difficulty of the content)
- Dubious Consent
The following content will not be approved for any commission request:
- Any depiction of a minor in a sexual or kink situation
- Nonconsensual Content
- Gore or extremely bloody content
- Incest
- Scat, watersports, ABDL
II - Payment
Until further notice, all payment must go through Paypal. A Paypal invoice can be offered on request.
After the base details of the commission are confirmed on both ends, an initial receipt is offered to the commissioner. Depending on the elements present in the commission details, this receipt may be subject to change, however in majority of cases the price point given in this receipt is final.
Payment is to be made up-front; preference is to full payment up-front, but a partial payment up-front can be negotiated in any non-sketch format. In such event, the full payment must be received before the commission can proceed to any lineart stages.
If an invoice is not requested, it is preferable the payment is sent through goods and services, and no comment is attached.
III - Process
Please note that any timeline points mentioned below are approximations, and due notice will be given if a delay is foreseen at any stage.
After the initial receipt is delivered and at least partial payment is received, a blueprint sketch of the commission will be delivered as a work-in-progress marker within 1 - 2 weeks, depending on outside workload. At this point, if the commissioner has paid partially, full payment will be required before the commission can advance any further.
Further WIP markers may be offered to the commissioner beyond this point, in the event the commissioner requests for one or if there are details that require further clarification at any stage.
During any step of the process stages - most preferably during the blueprint sketch stage - the commissioner is encouraged to offer appropriate feedback in order to better fit their desired result for the completed artwork.
Upon completion of the artwork, the commissioner will be given the choice to have the work publicly posted or kept private, as well as which platforms the work is allowed to be posted. In the event of the former, the commissioner also holds the right to be credited anonymously or by their chosen handle.
IV - Copyright Usage
Any and all commissioned artworks are rights reserved to the artist. Characters used in the art - unless stated otherwise - are rights reserved to their respective owners.
Commissioned artwork is approved for use in public non-profit purposes, though it is requested that notice is given to the artist in most circumstances. Any use of commissioned artwork with the signature intentionally removed is forbidden.
Commissioned artwork is not approved for commercial use in any shape or form unless negotiated before such use.
As mentioned in section I, under no circumstances is any commissioned artwork at any stage of production allowed to be used for any form of advanced image generation, (AI images, etc.) nor it is to be used in relation to any form of non-fungible tokens. (NFTs)
V - Cancellation and Refunding Policy
In the event that a commissioned artwork must be ceased prematurely to completion due to unforeseen circumstances or at the commissioner's request, the commissioner is entitled to a partial or full refund, dependant on the circumstances and stage in which the commission is cancelled.
In the event the artist rejects a commission after payment has been received, a partial or full refund may be offered to the commissioner in good faith.
TOS is subject to change; current terms are in effect as of 1 January 2024.
Other Details
All tiers are subject to a +50% price increase per character past the first.
Comic page and animation commissions are also accepted! Prices for comic pages and animations can be negotiated, based on the content of the pages and primary motion in respect to the shot types, (Close-Up, Medium Shot, Far Shot) as well as the technical difficulty of said content.
Certain requests (such as alternate imagesets, complex backgrounds, etc.) may be subject to extra charges on top of the base prices. Please inquire for more information.
New - Prose Commissions! $7 USD per 500 words! Same rules as above, with adjustments made for the writing process; basically there'll be a first draft provided in place of a blueprint sketch, which will help dictate the final word count and price point. Please inquire for more information.
Adding in a commish deal for any commissions from February 1 onward: the "Sure, I can Discount for This Guy" List! A short list of characters I happen to have a bias toward that will earn a single 10% off on the commission they're requested for!
